Srinagar: Air traffic restored at the Srinagar International Airport after remaining affected due to snow since Monday.
“The runway has been cleared and visibility has improved,” Airport Authorities of India said.
A terminal manager at AAI Srinagar told INS that 10 flights operated from Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday.
“No message was received from any airlines about the cancellation of any flight from Delhi or Jammu. The other flights would also operate as per the time,” he said.
However, the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, the only road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country remained closed since Monday due to snow and landslides.
The stranded vehicles have been rescued, official told INS.
