Bar calls for lawyers protest against civilian killings on Saturday

Srinagar: Kashmir High Court Bar Association Srinagar on Thursday called for lawyers protest on February 3 across Jammu and Kashmir against killing of civilian in the Valley.
“J&K High Court Bar Association Srinagar demands immediate UNO intervention to put an end to state terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and stop the innocent killings,” General Secretary of the lawyers body G N Shaheen said in a statement issued here.
“The Bar Association, calls for Lawyers protest on 3rd of February, 2018 across Jammu and Kashmir at respective headquarters of all Bar Associations. The main protest rally will be taken out from Moominabad Court Complex Srinagar. “
The Bar Association, he said also seeks the arrest of army officers involved in the killings and immediate arrest of killers of Asifa, the bakarwal girl of Kuthwa.
“Accordingly all the Lawyers are advised to cooperate with the decision of the Bar Association,” he added.
