JKSSB issues 90 selection lists

Jammu: The J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) declared 90 selection lists at the 134th Board meeting convened under the chairpersonship of Dr Simrandeep Singh, Chairman, JKSSB here last evening.
According to a JKSSB spokesman, the selections include for the posts of Junior and Senior Crafts Instructors in Handicrafts Department as also the much-awaited and long pending selections of Accounts Assistants of Finance Department issued vide Advertisement Notification No: 07 of 2010 in respect of Doda, Kathua, Anantnag, Udhampur, Rajouri, Pulwama, Budgam and Kupwara districts. These posts were held up due to a Service Writ Petition which finally got decided in February 2017. The other selections include Jr Staff Nurse (Doda), Veterinary Pharmacist (Kathua) and others.
According to the spokesman, these vacancies were notified vide advertisements No.07 of 2010; 03 of 2012; Adv no. 01 of 2013 and Adv no. 1 of 2014; 05/06/07 of 2015; 03 of 2016.
The Board meeting was attended by the Members of the Board including Prof Tasleem Peer, M S Malik, Rahul Sharma, Musheer Ahmad Mirza, Anil Koul, Dr Nirupa Rai, Mohammad Saleem Malik.
Incharge Secretary of Board, Rehana Akhtar Bijli and Under Secretary, Shoaib Naikoo were also present.
Pertinently, JKSSB has fast-paced the selections process since the present Chairman assumed office and the Board has issued more 200 selection lists since August 2017
