Jammu: Only one-way movement of heavy-motor vehicles is allowed from Jammu to Kashmir on Saturday after landslides hit the strategic Srinagar Jammu national highway.
An official said that landslides hit the 300-km highway at Battery Chashma on early Saturday, blocking the movement of traffic.
However, light-motor vehicles are allowed to ply from both sides, he said. “Men and machinery have been put into service to clear the road.”
