Civil secretariat Class-IV to have uniform, panel to define criteria

Srinagar: The State Government on Tuesday constituted a committee to be headed by Director codes for defining criteria for entitlement of uniform to Class-IV employees of civil secretariat.
The five-member panel has been also tasked to select uniform for summer and winter seasons based on market survey and ascertaining the reasonability of rates.
With Director Codes as chairman, members of the panel include Director Finance, General Administration Department, Joint Director, Resource, Finance Department and Presidents of J&K Civil Secretariat NGEU and J&K LGEU as members.
It shall also work out financial implications based on cost estimates and number of employees entitled for disbursement of uniform, the order added.
