Srinagar, Nov 30: J&K Bank Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmad today presented the state-of-the-art ambulance to the senior functionaries of J&K Waqf Board while paying obeisance at the Dargah Hazratbal on Thursday.
The Imam of Dargah Moulana Kamaluddin Farooqi received the Chairman along with his team at the sanctum sanctorum of Dargah and prayed for the collective good of people of J&K in presence of the Administrator Waqf Board Peer Masood-ul-haq, Sr. Controller Finances Ajaz Ahmad Mir and other office bearers of the shrine, bank said in a statement.
According to bank spokesman Chairman Parvez Ahmed handed over the key of vehicle to the Waqf Board’s Sr. Controller Finances Ajaz Ahmad Mir in presence of the bank’s Executive Presidents Vagesh Chander, S S Sehgal, Sr. President Abdul Rasheed, Presidents Nishi Baru, Abdul Rashid Shegan, Zonal Head Manzoor Hussain, Vice Presidents Rakesh Gandotra, Sushil Kumar Gupta, Vinay Sawhney, Arvind Gupta, Cluster Head Shahzad Hussain Teli, Head Business Unit Kashmir University Campus Showkat Makhdoomi and other senior officers and office bearers of Waqf Board amid large gathering of people visiting the shrine.
“Under CSR, we have been trying in our humble way to serve the societies we work with and give back to the society particularly across the state. And we shall continue to contribute towards creating the requisite infra-structure for the social and cultural well-being of the people in the state,” Parvez Ahmed was quoted as saying in the press statement.
