Unscheduled power cuts have irked Buchpora localities of Srinagar while residents say that PDD is playing a cruel joke with them for being ‘tax payers’.

 

Peoples from different areas including Uumerhare, buchpora, usman Abad, Ahmadnagar, shadab colony, Shah mohala told INS that the un scheduled power cuts is effecting not only families but especially students preparing for various examinations.

Residents of these areas claim that despite repeated requests to concerned officials , the situation has not improved so far.

“Power Development Department,  does not follow any power curtailment schedule. They resort to power cuts as per their wishes ,” said a group of residents from Umerhare.
“Despite paying electricity bills on time every month , PDD has failed to ensure adequate power supply ”, said Manzoor Ahmad.
