Meet Shaheena Majid, a trailblazing gym coach from Srinagar’s Habbak area, who is redefining the boundaries of health and wellness in the region. As a certified female fitness trainer at Muscle Blast Unisex Gym in Burzhama, Shaheena is on a mission to empower individuals, particularly the youth, to prioritize their health and unlock their full potential.

With an impressive academic background, having completed her PG BEd and currently preparing for a PhD, Shaheena is a shining example of intellectual prowess and athletic enthusiasm. Her journey into the world of fitness began with a clear goal – to become a respected fitness trainer. After obtaining the necessary certifications, Shaheena embarked on her career, working with prominent gyms like Titans, The Game Changer, and Muscle Factory.

With nearly Eight years of experience under her belt, Shaheena has established herself as a leading figure in Kashmir’s fitness industry. Her expertise and passion have inspired countless individuals to adopt a healthier lifestyle, and her message resonates with people of all ages.

In a recent media conversation, Shaheena shared her inspiring story and valuable insights into the world of fitness.

Shaheena’s journey into fitness was not accidental. From a young age, she had set her sights on becoming a fitness trainer, driven by a passion to help others achieve their health goals. “Since the beginning of my career, I knew I wanted to be a fitness trainer,” she said. “I wanted to empower people to take control of their health and wellness, and I’ve never looked back since “.

As a female fitness trainer in a conservative society, Shaheena faced numerous challenges. However, she refused to let societal norms dictate her path. In an era where substance abuse has become a significant concern among Kashmiri youth, Shaheena’s message is particularly relevant.

She urges young individuals to ditch harmful habits and instead, get hooked on gym workouts, which can transform their lives. “In today’s world, where the youth are easily swayed by negative influences, it’s essential to channel their energy into something positive,” she emphasized. “Gym workouts can be a game-changer, helping individuals build confidence, discipline, and a strong work ethic.”

As a female fitness trainer, Shaheena is particularly passionate about empowering women to prioritize their health and wellness.

She encourages girls and women to shed their inhibitions and focus on building strong bodies and minds. “Health is paramount, and it’s essential for both men and women to prioritize their well-being,” she said. “By working out regularly, women can boost their confidence, improve their mental health, and lead a more fulfilling life.”
