Kulgam Gunfight: LG Sinha pays tribute to martyred soldiers, CM Omar lays wreath

Srinagar, Aug 09: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday paid heartfelt tributes to the army personnel who made the supreme sacrifice during the ongoing anti-terror operation in Kulgam.

LG Sinha paid tributes to the brave army personnel L/Nk Pritpal Singh and Sep Harminder Singh, who made supreme sacrifice in the ongoing operations against terrorists in Kulgam.

“I salute the indomitable courage of our brave hearts L/Nk Pritpal Singh and Sep Harminder Singh, who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the motherland,” Sinha said.

“Their valour, grit & determination will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief.”

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah paid rich tributes to martyred jawans.

In a post on X, Office of CM J&K wrote, “Chief Minister laid the wreath and paid rich tribute to the brave soldiers who made ultimate sacrifice at Kulgam.” (KNC)
