This occasion reminds us of the unparalleled courage and valor of those brave sons of Mother India who dedicated their lives to protect the nation’s pride. Their spirit of sacrifice for the motherland will continue to inspire every generation. Jai Hind!”

Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed every year on July 26 to honor the victory of the Indian armed forces in the 1999 Kargil War and to pay homage to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
