12 injured in Rajouri accident

Rajouri, May 28: At least a dozen people sustained injuries in a collision between a passenger vehicle and a load carrier in the Kotranka area of Rajouri district on Wednesday.

Official sources said that the accident took place near Badhal pulley involving a Tata Magic passenger vehicle and a Tata Mobile load carrier.

Following the incident, twelve individuals eight males and four females were injured. Of them, nine were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for advanced treatment due to the nature of their injuries, they said.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
