The tremors were felt in various parts of Kashmir, prompting residents to rush out of their homes and buildings as a precautionary measure. People in parts of north India and Pakistan also reported feeling the ground shake.

According to seismic monitoring agencies, the epicenter of the earthquake lay deep within Pakistani territory, with the tremors spreading across the bordering regions of Afghanistan and Tajikistan due to the quake’s considerable depth. (KNT)
