Srinagar, June 20: Under the visionary guidance of the Transport Minister, Satish Sharma, and the direct supervision of the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir UT, Omar Abdullah, the Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) has made comprehensive and seamless arrangements for the safe and comfortable transportation of students recently evacuated from Iran.
In a dedicated effort to facilitate their smooth onward journey, JKRTC has deployed a fleet of Super Deluxe AC buses at Delhi International Airport, a statement issued to the INS reads.
These buses have been specially arranged to ensure that the students, many of whom have endured a challenging evacuation, are provided with a secure and comfortable travel experience as they return to their homes in Srinagar and other parts of Jammu & Kashmir.
This swift response by JKRTC, following the directives from the highest levels of the UT Government, reflects the administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare, safety, and dignity of its citizens. The Super Deluxe AC buses have been equipped to alleviate any hardship the students may have faced, ensuring they reach home in comfort and safety.
