While addressing a public gathering in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi said, “India is a land of culture and values. Sindoor is a sacred symbol of our traditions and of Nari Shakti. Even Lord Hanuman, immersed in devotion to Ram, wore sindoor. In the worship of Shakti, we offer sindoor, and today this same sindoor has become a symbol of India’s rising might.”

Referring to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, PM Modi said, “The terrorists not only spilled the blood of Indians but attacked our civilization. They tried to divide our society. They challenged India’s Nari Shakti but that challenge has now become a disaster for them and their handlers.”

“Operation Sindoor is India’s largest and most successful anti-terror mission. Our forces destroyed terror camps deep inside in areas Pakistan never imagined we would reach,” the PM said. “This operation delivered a decisive blow, signaling that India will no longer tolerate proxy wars through terrorism.”

He warned, “This operation has made it clear the era of tolerating proxy war is over. We will enter their territory and eliminate threats. Anyone helping terrorists will have to pay a heavy price.”

Sending a strong message to Islamabad, PM Modi said, “Today, every citizen of India all 140 crore is united in voice. If you fire bullets, be prepared to receive bombs in return.”

Highlighting the role of women in Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister said, “This operation is also a symbol of the strength of Nari Shakti. BSF’s brave daughters played a crucial role from Jammu to Punjab, Rajasthan to Gujarat. They stood firm on the frontlines and responded strongly to cross-border firing. From command centres to combat zones, they showed unmatched courage.”

PM Modi also stressed the growing involvement of women in the armed forces. “Whether it’s fighting Naxalites or cross-border terrorists, India’s daughters are today becoming the shield of our nation,” he said.

He said, “In the past 10 years, we’ve taken major steps to include women in the defence forces. Before 2014, only 25% of NCC cadets were girls today the figure is nearing 50%. Yesterday, we created history the first batch of women cadets graduated from the NDA.”

“Two daughters of the Indian Navy have just completed a 250-day world tour by sea they circled the globe on a wind-powered boat, braving storms, harsh weather, and weeks without land in sight. They’ve shown that there is no challenge our daughters cannot face.”

PM Modi recalled the legacy of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar. “When our temples and pilgrimage sites were under attack, it was Ahilyabai who protected them including the sacred Kashi Vishwanath. It is my good fortune that today, I serve the same Kashi where she carried out so much development,” he said. (JKNS)
