Proud moment for Crescent Public School as Faizah Shamas tops J&K in Class 11th exams

Srinagar, May 25: In a remarkable academic achievement, Faizah Shamas, a student of Crescent Public School, Srinagar, has topped the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Class 11 examinations, securing the first position across Jammu and Kashmir.

Her outstanding performance has brought immense pride to the school and the region. Other students from the school — Abeeha Khan, Shahzada Shams-ul-Haq Shameem and Syed Nabiha Riyaz — have also achieved excellent results, further strengthening Crescent Public School’s reputation as a leading institution for academic excellence.

Speaking about her achievement, Faizah Shamas said, “I am deeply grateful to my teachers, parents and school management for supporting me throughout this journey. Their encouragement and my consistent efforts helped me reach this milestone.”

Shahzada Shams-ul-Haq also expressed his gratitude “This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of my school, family, and teachers. I hope to continue making them proud.”

G.N. Var, President of the Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), extended his heartfelt congratulations “I congratulate all the Class 11 toppers who excelled in the JKBOSE examinations, especially the students of Crescent Public School, who have shown consistent excellence not only in this exam but also in the recent Class 10th and 12th results.”

He added “This success highlights the significant role of private schools play in our education sector, despite the challenges they face—be it academic calendar shifts, harsh winters or operational hurdles. Once again congratulations to all students, teachers, parents and school management.”

Er. Mohammad Shukiel Dar, Chairman of CPS, praised the students’ hard work “These results reflect the dedication of our students and the relentless efforts of our teaching staff. We remain committed to nurturing both academic and personal growth.”

Er. Mohammad Shahid Dar, Director of CPS, emphasized the school’s ongoing commitment “Crescent Public School remains dedicated to quality education and holistic development. The achievements of our students are a reflection of the strong foundation we provide.”

CPS Principal Shabbar Khan added: “I am extremely proud of Faizah Shamas, Shahzada and all our students who have excelled. These accomplishments reflect their resilience, focus and the collaborative support of our faculty and parents.”

Dr. Sham-ul-Bari, father of Faizah, shared his joy “This is a proud moment for our family. Faizah’s determination and the school’s support played a key role in her success. We are deeply thankful.”

Nazir Ahmad Bhat, father of Shahzada, expressed similar sentiments “Seeing my son excel is the greatest joy. I am grateful to Crescent Public School for their guidance and support.”
