The operation focused on verifying Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, proper documentation, and preventing unauthorized SIM issuance.

Vendors were warned that violations would lead to penalties, license cancellation, and legal action.

Police emphasized vendors’ role in securing communication systems and urged them to follow KYC norms. The public was also encouraged to report any suspicious SIM card activities to support law enforcement efforts.
