Manzoor Dar urges J&K admin to regularize services of vocational trainers

Srinagar, Jan 28: Sewa Bharti Media Incharge Kashmir, Manzoor Ahmad Dar, has strongly urged the Jammu and Kashmir administration to regularize the services of vocational trainers working under various skill development programs.

He emphasized that these trainers play a crucial role in shaping the future of youth by imparting industry-relevant skills and need job security to continue their work effectively.

Speaking on the issue, Dar highlighted that vocational trainers have been working tirelessly for years on contractual terms, facing uncertainty regarding their employment. Despite their significant contributions to empowering youth and reducing unemployment, they have not been granted permanent status, which affects their morale and financial stability.

“The vocational trainers in Jammu and Kashmir are dedicated professionals who have been contributing to the upliftment of our youth. However, their lack of job security hampers their growth and effectiveness. It is imperative that the government takes immediate steps to regularize their services and provide them with stable employment,” Dar said.

He further appealed to the Lieutenant Governor’s administration and the concerned authorities to address this long-pending demand at the earliest. “Ensuring the regularization of vocational trainers will not only secure their future but also strengthen the skill development ecosystem in J&K,” he added.

Sewa Bharti Kashmir has consistently worked towards the welfare of the people, and this demand aligns with its commitment to social empowerment. Dar reiterated that recognizing the contribution of vocational trainers and providing them with due benefits will ultimately benefit the entire society by fostering a skilled workforce.

He urged all stakeholders, including political representatives and civil society, to support this just cause and ensure justice for vocational trainers across Jammu and Kashmir.
