The delegate session also deliberated up on the difficulties being faced in getting ST certificates issued as various Tehsildars have prescribed very cumbersome proceedures.

The session alpealed to the Government to prescribe SOP for the issuence of certificates to PEG.

As per a statement, the reservation in fact remains 50% only while EWS quota has been decleared exclusively for general catagory by the supreme court as such can not b deducted from the 50% of open catagory.

Similarly the sports, handicap and force personnel quota is a horizantal reservation.

Howover, now that a ministerial committee has been constituted by the government. “We have all the faith in its capability and wisdom and if required our comunity will extend all support to it. We will welcome the reservation as per population ratio because Paharis and Gujjars together make more than 25% of the population.
