Dr. Singh’s remarkable leadership was instrumental in fostering peace, harmony, and brotherhood among diverse communities. His steadfast commitment to dialogue, patience, and understanding set a precedent for resolving issues through peaceful means. He was a soothing presence, especially for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, who found in him a leader willing to listen, empathize, and work towards lasting solutions, Wani said.

“In times of polarization, his vision of a secular and united India kept the social fabric intact, proving that wisdom and calmness can guide a nation through its most challenging times. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to uphold the values of peace and coexistence,” he said.

May his contributions always be remembered and cherished.
