Don’t allow minors to drive vehicles: SSP Traffic City Jammu

Jammu, Dec 09: As a part of traffic awareness campaign, SSP Traffic City Jammu, Faisel Qureshi made a visit to Heritage Public School Sainik Colony Jammu on the occasion of its 20th Annual Sports day function.

During the occasion, SSP Traffic awarded the students of the school as well as the parents who were the part of the function to follow the traffic rules and regulations in order to safeguard their lives from traffic accidents as well as to avoid inconvenience caused due to traffic challans.

During the address, SSP Traffic advised the general public to wear helmets, seat belts while driving vehicles.

Further he requested the parents not to allow their juvenile children to drive any kind of vehicle unless they possess a valid Driving licence to avoid legal action against them.

SSP Traffic concluded the awareness lecture on the note that the traffic Police is committed to safety of the general public and ensure that precious lives are not lost in accidents due to rash and negligent driving and with the assurance that parents as well as the students shall adhere to the rules of the road laid down in the Motor Vehicle Act.
