Srinagar, Nov 7: Some gunshots were heard during cordon and search operation in Sagipora area of North Kashmir’s Sopore on Thursday evening.

A top police officer told GNS that on a specific input a cordon and search operation was launched in Sagipora by a joint team of Police and army this evening.

During searches, some gunshots were heard subsequently the security cordon was tightened around the area, he said.
