Water supply to remain affected on Oct 30-31 in Sgr areas

Srinagar, Oct 28: The Executive Engineer Water Works Division Srinagar announces that due to repair works on pumping units at Dalbund Nishat, water supply from the Water Treatment Plant Nishat will be affected from October 30 to October 31.

The areas impacted include Nishat, Brein, Kralsangri, Gupkar, Nehru Park, Mir Behri Dal, Buchwara, Dalgate, Konakhan, Khayam, Bishembar Nagar, Indra Nagar, Shivpora, Sonwar, Batwara, Lal Chowk, Poloview, M.A. Road, Residency Road, Court Road, Rajbagh (Partly), Maisuma, Gowkadal, Barbarshah, Koker Bazar, Basant Bagh, Habba Kadal, Fateh Kadal, Balgarden, Karan Nagar, Suthra Shahi, Tankipora, Zaindar Mohalla, Karfali Mohalla, Nawa Bazar, Kaka Sarai, Bohri Kadal, Babademb, Nowhatta (Partly), Khawaja Bazar, Rainawari, and Miskeen Bagh.

“Residents are advised to store sufficient water to meet their needs during this period,” the department said in a public notice. (NVI)
