3 houses gutted in overnight blaze at Alochi Bagh

Srinagar, Oct 23: Atleast four double story houses, three cowsheds and as many shops were gutted due to overnight fire blaze in Batpora Hyhama area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Officials told GNS that fire erupted in Batpora Hayhama area late night causing damage to four residential houses, three cowsheds and three shops.

Due to timely intervention of fire service, police, army’s 41 RR and locals fire was brought under control hence a major tragedy was avoided.

Locals from the area hailed the swift response of fire service, police and army.
