SKIMS issues timing for attendants to meet patients

Srinagar, Oct 04: Authorities at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura Friday issued the timing for the people to meet their patients at the healthcare facility.

As per the information received, the visiting attendants to the healthcare facility will be allowed to meet their patients daily from 03:00 pm to 05:30 pm only.

They said that move has been taken due to threat of infection to patients and no person shall be allowed to see patients before or after the given schedule.

“It is for the information of General Public that they will be allowed to see their patients on daily basis from 03.00 to 05.30 PM only. Due to threat of infection to patients one is not allowed to see patients before or after the given schedule. Food items like Rice, Tea and Fruits etc. are not allowed inside Hospital premises,” Medical Superintendent SKIMS said in a communication.

“We request you to co-operate with us for better patient management,” he added.
