Jammu, Aug 14: One militant has been injured while as one M4 rifle recovered in ongoing encounter in Doda district on Wednesday.

Official sources told GNS that one militant has been injured in an on ongoing encounter at Akar Forest today.

There were some blood stains found in the area which gives impression that an militant has been injured in firefight, they said.

Also one M4- Rifle has been recovered by the security forces. Two to three militants are believed to trapped in the area, they added.

Till this report was being filed operation in the area was underway.

Army yesterday reported that a gunfight erupted with militants in Akar Forest area of Patnitop.
