Jammu, Jul 08: Five soldiers were injured, two of them critically, in a militant attack in Kathua on Monday.

Sources told GNS that militants targeted a patrolling party of army near Badnota area, leaving five soldiers injured.

Two of the seriously injured soldiers have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Billawar for advanced treatment while three remaining personnel have been admitted in a local Hospital.

Soon after the attack, reinforcement of Police and army were rushed to the area and a massive cordon and search operation have been launched to nab the attackers, they said.
