Man jumps into river Jhelum, rescued

Srinagar, Mar 25: A man was rescued after he allegedly jumped into the river Jhelum at Rajbagh area of Srinagar.

According to the INS, a man, hailing from Batamaloo, attempted to end his life by jumping into river Jhelum from Zero bridge at Rajbagh area.

However, a massive rescue operation was launched and the man was rescued, who was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment.
