Ahead of PM Modi’s visit, weatherman predicts rains, snow in Kashmir parts

Srinagar, Mar 06: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir, the weatherman here has predicted light rains and snow in the parts of Valley from Wednesday evening.

“There is a possibility of light rains and snow in the parts of Kashmir from this evening to Thursday afternoon,” Director Meteorological department told INS.

He added that there is no forecast of any significant weather activity till March 10.

Pertinently, PM Modi is all set to address a rally in Srinagar tomorrow while an elaborate arrangements have been made to esnure the smooth conduct of the rally at Bakshi Stadium here.

The flags of BJP have been erected on the walls to welcome the PM Modi.

Tight security arrangements too have been made for PM Modi’s visit to Kashmir first time after the abrogation of Article 370 on August 05, 2019.
