Srinagar, Feb 27: The 13-year-old, Faheem Zahoor from Wanipora Saloora area Ganderbal, has become a beacon of dedication, resilience, and passion in the world of martial arts. His recent accomplishments highlight not only his talent but also his unwavering commitment to excellence.

Faheem’s journey to success reached new heights when he participated in the All India selection trial held at Sheri Kashmir Indoor Stadium, Srinagar, on February 7th, 2024.

His stellar performance secured him a spot in the maiden All India National level competition held in Maharashtra on February 18th and 19th, 2024, where he once again showcased his remarkable skills and clinched the Gold medal.

The Championship was held at District Sports Complex Shri Guru Govind Singh Ji Stadium, Nanded Maharashtra.

In reflecting on his achievements, Faheem expressed deep gratitude to his coach, Murtaza Bhat, and his parents for their unwavering support and encouragement.

Their belief in his abilities has been instrumental in his success.

Beyond his athletic feats, Faheem shared a powerful message with the community. He advocated for the importance of sports in leading a healthy lifestyle and urges individuals to steer clear of drugs while limiting excessive mobile phone use.

Faheem emphasized the holistic benefits of regular exercise for both physical and mental well-being.

Faheem is a 7th grade student from Hil Top School Ganderbal.
