Srinagar, Feb 05: The body of a passenger was retrieved three days after an e-rickshaw plunged into the River Jehlum near Lasjan bridge, officials said on Monday.

An official said that after hectic efforts from SDRF, Indian Navy, and other departments, the body was recovered after three days today.

He identified the deceased as Mukhtar Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Batmaloo Srinagar.

Pertinently, an E-Rickshaw fell into the River Jehlum near Lasjan bridge on Saturday following which the driver was rescued and the search operation was launched.
