Gurez, Drass receive fresh snowfall, night temp rises in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 13: While the night temperature improved across Kashmir, a few places including Gurez and Drass have experienced fresh snowfall on Saturday.

According to INS, a feeble Western Disturbance affected J&K yesterday and under its influence, the night temperature has increased acroas the region.

As per the Meteorological department, Srinagar the capital of J&K has recorded above freezing temperature for the first time in last over month as it settled at 0.2°C.

The other parts also recorded rise in the mercury.

Reports said that Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district and Drass in Ladakh received fresh snowfall—(KNO)
