Principal PTTI Vijaypur inaugurates pre-promotion course of SDRF

Vijaypur, Dec 28: The 90 days pre-promotion course of SDRF personnel commenced at PTTI Vijaypur for Police personnel of SDRF Battalions of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday.

The objective of the course is to enhance the capabilities and tactics of participants and expose them to the latest tools and techniques.

As per a statement issued to INS, the course was formally inaugurated by Shiv Kumar, Principal, PTTI Vijaypur who during inaugural function inspected parade of participating trainees and witnessed their march past.

While addressing, the Principal briefed the participating trainees about the basic concepts of the course.

He said that during training, these trainees would be imparted Physical training, Drill with and without Arms, weapon handling and other routine Indoor/Outdoor activities as per prescribed syllabus.

He further told that SDRF is a force which has to remain prepared 24X7 to respond immediately for launching rescue operations during Natural calamities and it is necessary for SDRF personnel to remain updated with sophisticated rescue machinery and equipments for which special live demonstrations of experts will be organized during training so that they may perform their field duties more effectively.

Among others Kuldeep Raj, DySP (Indoor/Tech), Kushwant Singh, Dy.SP (Admn.), Surinder Singh Singh (CDI), Inspr. Ram Lal (CLI), Inspr. Mulkh Raj, Inspr. Vivek Kalsotra, Inspr. Javed Hussain (RI), Inspr. Bhopinder Singh, Inspr. Himanshu Dutta, Inspr. Ashish Dharmat, Inspr. Kapil Raina were present during inaugural function.
