Srinagar, Dec 21: A delegation of DDC Chairmen from various districts of the valley Thursday called on Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo to extend their felicitations to him. They also apprised him about the day to day ongoing developmental works in their respective districts and submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary and projected their issues.

Prominent issues discussed in the meeting included those pertaining to Roads, Water, Solar Lights, Waste Management etc.

Dulloo advised the delegation to ensure implementation of the government policies in their respective districts. He also sought suggestions from them about the developmental needs in their areas and said that the aim of the government is to ensure all round development of each and every area.

Chief Secretary advised them to look for best practices prevalent and implement those in their respective districts for better results. He assured the delegation about resolution of all issues under norms in a timely manner.
