Embarking on his journey in 2017, Faheem explored various mixed martial arts disciplines such as Taekwondo, Thai boxing, boxing, Wushu, and more.

In one such achievement, Faheem managed to bag a Gold medal in Thai boxing in Hyderabad, foreshadowing the extraordinary path he would tread. Transitioning to Pencak Silat in 2021, he actively participated in numerous district and state championships. The zenith of his efforts unfolded at the 11th National Pre-Teen, Pre-Junior, and Junior Championship in Patna, Bihar (Nov 23-26, 2023).

Faheem’s triumphs commenced at the district level Pencak Silat Championship 2023 held at Government Degree College Ganderbal (June 24-26), where he clinched Gold medal. Progressing to the state level championship at Sheri Kashmir Indoor Stadium, Srinagar (Sept 23-25, 2023), Faheem once again emerged victorious, earning the honor to represent at the national level.

The culmination of his journey saw Faheem proudly securing a Bronze medal at the National Championship in Patna. Reflecting on his success, Faheem attributes his achievements to the unwavering support and motivation provided by his coach, Muraza Bhat and his family.

“I express my gratitude to my coach, all members of Pencak Silat Ganderbal, and my parents. Their constant encouragement has been pivotal to this success,” Faheem said.

He also extended a poignant message to all, urging people to indulge in sports, avoid drugs, and restrict mobile phone use. He advocated for a healthier lifestyle through regular exercise, emphasizing the holistic benefits for both physical and mental wellbeing.
