Mughal Road Reopens  After Landslide Debris Clearance

Poonch, May 21: Mughal road, connecting Poonch-Rajouri and Shopian districts, reopened for traffic after clearance of landslide debris near Mansar Morh, officials said on Sunday.

The thoroughfare was closed on Saturday later afternoon. Subsequently, they said, men and machinery was pressed into services to restore the road for traffic. a senior official confirmed the reopening of the thoroughfare for vehicular traffic. He said stranded vehicles and tribal families, struck along with livestock, are moving towards the respective destination.
