Interschool Seerat and Naat Conference concludes at Crescent Public School

Srinagar: As part of two days Interschool Seerat and Naat Conference, the concluding day of the conference saw huge participation of students and religious scholars alike.
The conference was held by Crescent Public School at their auditorium in Habbak, Srinagar. 20 schools participated in the conference.
The conference was attended by Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi of Darul uloom Raheemiya, Mufti Abdul Rashid Miftahi of Darululoom Bilaliya, Moulana Arshad Nadvi, Chairman Foundation school, Haji Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo, Chairman Nigeen lake Conservation Organization, Kashmir Welfare Trust and Bilaliya Educational Institute, and G N Var president PSAJK.
On Thursday the conference was held exclusively for girls and today it was the turn of boys to enlighten audience on the topic.
The people at the chair greatly appreciated the school for organising such events and students for participating in such events.
Moulana Nadvi advised the students to follow the footsteps of Prophet (SAW) in every aspect of life, especially while shaping their character. He said that the character of Prophet (SAW) should be guiding light for each and everyone. He asked them to differentiate between education and knowledge and use both for betterment of society while holding tight to the religion.
President PSAJK Var gave the example of other communities moving forward and why muslims have lagged behind. He cited the example of Dr Sir Mohammad Iqbal, as to how he has shown us the path to move forward and how his love for Prophet (SAW) helped his achieve newer heights of success. He said that Islam repeatedly stresses on education and one should tolerate every suffering to provide better education to himself and his children.
The other religious scholars also said that the society is at a crucial phase where number of forces are trying to wean our youth towards destruction. They advised the students to read the Seerah and continuously educate themselves so to remain aloof of bad influences. They advised students to achieve succes not only for themselves but for the entire society and Ummah.
In the Seerat category, the first position was bagged by Sheeman Showkat of Radiant Public School, second position by Burhan of Kashmir Harward Educational Institute and third positon by Mohammad Irhan Najar of Islamia High School.
In the Naat category the first position was bagged by Arsalan of Kashmir Harward Educational Institute, second position by Hafizullah of Madina Public School and third position by Zaid Bin Muneer of Legends School of Education.
