Srinagar, April 24: Suspected militants on Monday evening fired upon a person in Bhijbhera area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A top police officer said that militants this evening fired upon a man identified as Aqib Ahmad Dar resident of Marhama Bijbhera.

He was immediately shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment. As per the reports his condition is stated to be stable.

Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
