Srinagar, Mar 28: Residents of Chinar colony in Chak Kawoosa area of Narbal Budgam said that the authorities provided them water supply after six days on Tuesday afternoon.
“We thank administration for providing the water supply and hope that the same is ensured regularly so that we are not made to suffer,” said a group of residents from the area.
They said there is no piped water supply and as such they have to depend on water tankers.
Earlier in the day, they said that no water tanker had been deputed to the area for six days as a result of which people faced tremendous difficulties.
They had also alleged that their phone calls and resort to online complaints mechanisms did not yield any results.
