Soldier injured in landmine blast along LoC in Poonch

Jammu, Feb 4: A soldier was injured in a landmine blast along Line of Control in Kerni sector of Poonch district on Saturday, official sources said.

They said that the blast, apparently occurring accidentally, occurred at around 11:15 a.m., leaving the soldier identified as A Rawat injured who was immediately airlifted to army’s command hospital in Udhampur. Confirming it, an official said that the status of the soldier’s condition was not immediately known.
