Christmas Being Celebrated Tomorrow, Churches Wear Festive Look In Kashmir

People, mostly the Christian community of Kashmir, will on Sunday celebrate Christmas by thronging churches in the Valley.
The biggest mass in the Valley is expected to be held at the Holy Family CatholicChurch at Maulana Azad Road in the heart of Srinagar city to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ and offer special prayers.
The church was decorated with colourful buntings and balloons and wears a festive look
Similar prayers are expected to be held at other churches in the city, at SaintJoseph’s Church in north Kashmir’s Baramulla, the oldest CatholicChurch in Jammu and Kashmir and at the Church in the tourist.This year, people will again miss ‘white Christmas’ as there is no snowfall ahead of the celebrations.
