Mughal Road, SSG Roads Open

Poonch, Oct 21:  Mughal Road, connecting Shopian with twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri, was thrown open for stranded traffic on Friday. The historic thoroughfare was closed shut following heavy snowfall mainly around Pir Ki Gali on Thursday.

Official sources said that stranded Light Motor Vehicles are being cleared on priority.

DySP Traffic Rajouri-Poonch Range Aftab Bukhari confirmed said it and said that the throughfare has been cleared of the snow to make it motorable.

Also, sources said that SSG road also reopened as traffic was released from Minimarg towards Srinagar.
