Man injured as 50 sheep, goats perish due to lightning, thunderstorm in Rajouri

Jammu, Oct 20: One person was injured and around 50 sheep and goat besides three horses perished due to lightning strike and thunderstorm in upper reaches of Rajouri district on Thursday, officials said.
The injured person has been identified as Mohammad Junaid son of Faiz Hussain. The incident took place in Bari Behek Shah Dara Top in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district. They said that live stock belongs to Nisar Hussain and two others residents of Gambhir Mughlan. A senior police officer confirmed it and said that a police team has reached the spot.
