Srinagar, Sept 14: An encounter has started in Nowgam area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Wednesday evening.

“On a specific input generated by Police, an encounter has started in Nowgam area of Srinagar District. Srinagar Police and (Army’s) 50RR are on the job. Further details shall follow,” police said in a tweet.
