Hajin: A-65-year man was killed in the wee hours of Sunday after being hit by a speedy vehicle in Baharabad area of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports said that the deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Hurra son of Sabir Ahmad Hurra of Baharabad.

The deceased was returning after performing Fajr prayers in a nearby mosque, they said, adding that the driver fled from the scene.

Meanwhile, local police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been initiated to trace the vehicle and involved driver.
