3 LeT militants killed in Budgam: Police

Srinagar, Aug 10: Three Lashker-e-Toiba militants were killed in Waterhail area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, police said.

“All the three hiding LeT (militants) neutralised. Bodies being retrieved from the site, identification yet to be ascertained,” police said in a tweet. It said incriminating materials, arms and ammunition was recovered. “A big success for us,” ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said.

Later police in a tweet identified one among the militants as Lateef Rather alias Abdullah, “killer of Rahul Bhat & Amreen Bhat among the three killed (militants).”

“He was involved in several crime cases  including several civilian killings & atrocities: ADGP Kashmir,” police tweeted.
