J&K Reports 149 Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, July 15: Jammu and Kashmir reported 149 fresh covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, taking the overall caseload to 456605, even as there was no death due to the pathogen during the time, officials said on Friday.
73 cases were reported from Jammu division and 76 from Kashmir division, they said.
Giving district wise details, he said, Srinagar reported 61 cases, Jammu 57, Udhampur nine, Kupwara five, Ganderbal four, Kathua and Samba reported three cases each, Bandipora and Anantnag logged two cases each while Poonch, Budgam and Pulwama reported one case each.
Among the total cases, 167978 are from Jammu division and 288627 from Kashmir, they said.
There was no death from Jammu region due to the pathogen in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4758 persons have succumbed to the virus—2333 in Jammu and 2425 in Kashmir.
Besides, they said, 108 Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—69 from Jammu division and 39 from Kashmir Valley. There are now 856 active case— 507 in Jammu and 349 in Kashmir.
The officials said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 5202 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
