Policeman Shot, Injured By Militants In Bijbhera Anantnag

Srinagar, July 03:  A policeman identified as Firdous Ahmad was shot at and injured by militants on Sunday in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Officials said that militants fired upon the policeman in Bijbehara and was subsequently shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

His condition is stated to be stable so far. Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers
