CS-Led Panel To Search JKPSC Chairman, Members

Srinagar, May 27: The government on Friday constituted a high-level panel headed by Chief Secretary making suitable recommendations for selection of Chairman and Members of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission.

Besides Chief Secretary as Chairman, the members of the committee include Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Agriculture Production Department, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Home Department, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department and Principal Secretary to the Government General Administration Department, according to an order by government.

J&K Government has appointed Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone, IAS (retired) member of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) as its interim chairman with effect from April 24.
