Srinagar, May 27: Police on Friday said that four militants Awantipora Pulwama and Soura Srinagar, officials said.

Police said that two LeT militants were killed in Shah Faisal colony, Buchpura in Soura area of Srinagar.

Earlier, police said, two LeT militants were killed in an overnight gunfight in Pulwama Awantipora.

The police identified the two LeT militants in Soura as Shakir Ahmed Waza and Afreen Aftab Malik, both residents of Trenz Shopian and ‘C’ categorised. “Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition recovered. Further details shall follow”.

Those killed Awantipora have been identified as Shahid Mushtaq Bhat of Hafroo Chadoora Budgam and Farhan Habib of Hakripora Pulwama. “Both had joint recently. They had killed TV artist on the instruction of LeT Cmdr Lateef. 01 AK 56 rifle, 4 magazines and a pistol recovered,” IGP Kashmir said.

He said 10 militants including 3 from JeM and 7 from LeT outfits were killed in last 3 days in Kashmir valley. “Heinous murder case of late Ambreen bhat solved in 24 hours,” IGP Kashmir said.
