Budgam: Budgam police has arrested 06 persons accused of attacking a girl and her family, officials said on Tuesday.

A statement issued here said that on Monday at about 21: 00 hrs a scuffle broke out over a dispute over construction of local road at Bon Makhama Magam where in Abdul Khaliq Parray s/o Ghulam Mohammad Parray, Mohammad Ramzan Parray s/o Ghulam Mohammad Parray and Bashir Ahmad Parray s/o Mohammad Maqbool Parray along with their family members attacked house/family of one Abdul Rahseed Parray R/o BonMakhama.

“During the incident daughter of Abdul Rahseed Parray (name withheld)Age 16/17 years was hit on head with some blunt object causing injuries to her. The injured was shifted to SDH Magam and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where her condition is stated to be not well,” police said.

A Case FIR No 64/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered into to the incident at Police station Magam and investigation taken up.

“So far 06 accused persons have been arrested in the instant case and investigation is going on,” statement reads

More arrests are expected
